Family

My family and I are really close, a lot closer than most families are. I have a lot of family members. I have ten cousins, four aunts and uncles, and one niece. I have three brothers and one sister, one brother and my sister are really my step-brother and sister but I treat them like my real brother and sister. My family and I always get together even when it's not a holiday, especially during the summer, because my grandma and grandpa have a pool, and we always go out there to swim. When all my cousins are around it's really loud because most of them are under the age of 5, there are only two that are close in age to me and they are only 11. My brothers and I, were the very first grandchildren.

Memory

A memory that I would probably bottle up would be my brother passing away. I would bottle it up because no one would want to think about the death of a close family member. I probably wouldn't bring it up that much unless I was with my mom or dad or my other brother, because they know how it feels to go through something that hard. To lose someone close is feeling like you're always missing something and you can never get that back. To see how bad everyone else hurts to is also hard especially if you pass away at a young age.

Technology Project

In technology I doing my project about Aretha Franklin. I have learned a lot about her. She had her first child when she was 14 years old, and then a year later she had another child, both boys. She is the Queen of Soul, and is one of the most popular singers in that genre of music.  The only song I know by Aretha Franklin is respect. Her father was a priest and she started her music career in her dad's church when she was 10. Her grandmother took care of her two sons while she continued with her music career. She was signed by the age of 12, and then two years later switched to another record label.

Should We Not Have School Veterans Day?

I think that if we have school on Veterans Day, then we should have school on Martin Luther King Day too. If we should be educated about Veterans Day we should be educated on Martin Luther King Day too. I think having school on Martin Luther King Day would give students a better understanding of the speech Martin Luther King gave, because not a lot of students really know what Martin Luther King Day is really. Some people think it's just day for kids to get off of school, but its not its a day in history that changed the world. If he wouldn't have given that speech the world would be so different today, and I think we should have school on Martin Luther King Day.

Brothers Stole Dad's Body Hoping For Resurrection

Two adult brothers stole their dad's casket out of the ground. They were hoping to resurrect their dad by putting him in a freezer. One is 38 and the other one is 48 years old. The 48 year old said they were very religious and he admitted that he bought the freezer to store the corpse. They had a very hard time coping with the death of their father especially since their mother had passed a little bit before. The brothers were charged with disinterment. They had taken the casket and everything and put in their van and the next day the  cops tracked down the van.

Braces

I got braces yesterday. When I got them it took two hours to get them put on. Now that I have braces my teeth are going to be perfect in about two years but right now they hurt really bad. They feel like all my teeth are being pulled on. The colors I got were pink and purple, my two favorite colors. I also have things on my back teeth so that I don't bite off my brackets. Since I have those things on my back teeth my teeth don't touch at all so I kinda grinded them down last night and now my teeth touch because it was hard to eat when they weren't touching. Braces hurt at first, but it only takes 2 days to get used to them, and when you have them you talk kinda funny or with a lisp.

Letter To Former Classmate

Dear Taylor,
It's nice to hear from you, but what did you do that got you into prison in the first place? You don't seem like someone to do something against the law. I'm not sure if I can help you out with what you need but I can do my best and try. All you have to do is tell me what it is that you want. But the only way I will do something is if it will not get me in trouble also. I will help you with anything else just nothing against the law. You just need to keep in touch with me so that I can help whenever you need it. You are a really good friend and I don't believe that you're in prison because again you don't seem like the person to do something bad.

Softball

Softball

Softball isn't just a sport, it's a hobby and sometimes a lifestyle for some people. I love softball. I have played softball for six years now. Sports run in my family so it wouldn't be a surprise for me to play sports especially  since my brother has played baseball all his life. My sister has also played softball all her life and when I get into high school I hope that I can play on a select softball team, like my sister did when she was in high school. You have to be a really good player to get on one of the good select teams, some teams have even traveled to Florida. When you play softball you have to have good coordination.
